The warhammer world is amazing, and has a lot more depth than the 40k universe, as well as generally being a lot less grimdark.

The Gotrek and Felix series is incredibly funny and a great set of novels in general, great look at the Warhammer world, but i found the plot to get a little repetitive after the 13th book or however many there were.Īs has been mentioned, the Blackhearts series was probably my favourite, they are incredibly enjoyable and a bit darker than the Gotrek and Felix novels. Started on Everchosen, the story of Archaon (fantasy Abaddon) and its a little slow but very entertaining. I play night goblins and this book perfectly captured the existing fluff and models while adding a lot of new insights into the worlds deep under the mountains. I have just read Skarsnik, by Guy Haley, which was AMAZING.
